Spring has sprung in Strathalbyn, so this October Long Weekend is a great time to take the scenic drive through the stunning Adelaide Hills to our charming historic town for a spot of Antique Shopping.
On the Public Holiday Monday, 3rd October 2022, The Strathalbyn Agricultural Society hosts the 150th Strathalbyn Show. After a two year break due to COVID it’s great to see our popular family friendly Country Show being held again at Strathalbyn Sports Oval. This year the show plans to look back into the past, remembering those earlier shows, there will be a history display in the Show Hall. There will be some old-style cookery classes, wood chopping, black smith demonstrations, cheese making and a lot of other special events to mark our 150th as a special event.
While you are in town this long weekend don’t forget to pop into South Australia’s premier country Antique Market, Antique Bazaar of Strathalbyn. Enjoy a trip down memory lane browsing our fabulous range of antiques & collectables. You may find the perfect gift or just spoil yourself with a valuable treasure.
Our store is open 7 days a week from 10am – 5pm, including the Public Holiday on Monday.
